EAR'S NECROSIS IN PIGS

Ear necrosis syndrome is not necessarily a large-scale problem, but it is still possible to observe more or less important cases in some farms. Most of the time, piglets in the early stages of nursery are the most at risk. Sometimes seen in only a few pigs, while in the worst cases, 50 to 60% of piglets will be affected. This can then lead to high mortality rates and a significant economic loss when complications arise.
